The Centre for a Compassionate Society presents the first Equinox Talk, with David Tacey speaking on The Spirituality of Compassion. The event will also feature the music of Living Out Loud choir. After the talk there will be an opportunity to share reflections with others in small groups over a cup of soup.

David Tacey is an Australian public intellectual, writer and interdisciplinary scholar. He is Emeritus Professor of Literature at La Trobe University in Melbourne and Research Professor at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture in Canberra. David is the author of fourteen books and over a hundred and fifty articles and essays.

Where: The Centre for a Compassionate Society at The Community Church of St Mark, 100 Hodgkinson St, Clifton Hill, Victoria.

Entry is free, but we will be accepting donations for the Brigidine Asylum Seeker Project.
