The hard realities of life on Nauru

When last month’s Forgotten Children report was released, our government did its best to ensure we did just that – forget the children in a media storm of politics, accusing author Gillian Triggs of “partisanship”.

The subjects of the report, meanwhile, live in conditions being regularly condemned by the United Nations, including facing a high incidence rate of child sexual assault.
