Labor party members express concern about drivers behind PNG policy

Members of the Labor party seeking federal election have started publicly expressing their concern at their asylum seeker policy. While Kevin Rudd and Tony Burke continue to support the policy, some members are speaking out about their concerns. Joanne Ryan, contesting the Lalor seat currently held by Julia Gillard, has expressed her concerns that fear is driving the policy and her hope that the policy would be dumped if Labor wins the election.
